19世纪初期，在丹麦哥本哈根的一个小镇里，有一个对外界充满无限渴望的小男孩-Valeo-Dan，因为家境贫困，被父亲被迫送到富贵人家做奴仆。几年后，法蕾奥长大了...他决定不再过贫苦的日子，睡冰凉的地板，于是在保姆丢掉的垃圾桶里翻出了许多破旧的衣服和布玩偶。经过缝缝补补，模仿主人床垫的样子，终于为自己做了一张比地板舒服一千倍的垫子。从此，法蕾奥决定离开这里，去外面的世界学习更多的知识，让更多的穷人也能够摆脱这种困境，实现自己的理想。几年以后，年仅20岁的Valeo-Dan以自己的名义创办了床垫制造公司，取名为法蕾奥（VALEO），多年研究发展逐步成为丹麦床垫品牌。
